Eastside Distilling has re-launched a seasonal expression that forms part of a new line of flavoured whiskies.

Eastside Oregon Marionberry Whiskey was produced using Oregon-grown marionberries – a man-made cross between chehalem and olallie blackberries – and the distiller’s namesake Bourbon that spent an unspecified time in oak casks. The extension is available at selected on- and off-premise locations across three US states, ahead of a wider roll-out next year.

According to Eastside, the iteration’s formula and packaging are “new and improved” from last year’s release.

The company intends to add Luxardo Maraschino Cherry Whiskey and Oregon Cranberry Whiskey to the flavoured range in the coming months.

“Our goal is to consistently exceed our consumers’ expectations with the best, and most unique, spirits experience,” said chief branding officer Janet Oak. “I believe we have exceeded this goal with the new Eastside line of fruited whiskeys.”

In March, Eastside launched a craft spirits arm with a portfolio that includes an 11-year-old rum.
