- At the start of May, Brown-Forman lined up a new expression of its Old Forester Bourbon brand as part of a partnership with a new Hollywood film

- At the end of the month, Brown-Forman was moved to state it “is not for sale”, following reports suggesting Constellation Brands was mulling a takeover
- In July, Brown-Forman said it would name a new Northern Europe head later this year after long-term executive Andrew Wilby announced his retirement.
