Brown-Forman’s Finlandia Botanical – Product Launch

Brown-Forman is the latest vodka brand owner to join the lower-calorie and -abv trend, kicking off with two flavours from Finlandia.

The line extension, Finlandia Botanical, debuts with Cucumber & Mint and Wildberry & Rose in selected US states ahead of a wider roll-out in the coming months. The pair each contain 73 calories and carry an abv of 30%.

“Finlandia Botanical combines the versatility and mixability of vodka with the craftsmanship of botanical infusions in a way previously only associated with gin,” said the brand’s global master mixologist, Pekka Pellinen.

Finlandia Botanical joins a crowded field: Moet Hennessy unveiled Belvedere Organic Infusions on May, while Diageo boasts first-mover advantage with Ketel One Botanicals, which hit the US three years ago.
