Asahi Group has continued its partnership with Record Store Day for a second-year, launching a new IPA from its Meantime Brewing Company brand to mark the 15th anniversary of the vinyl record celebration in the UK.
B-side is the latest limited-edition release from London-based Meantime and is billed as a 4.8% abv ‘No Coast’ IPA. The beer takes inspiration from both East and West Coast interpretations of the style and will be available in 44cl cans from the brewery’s online store.
To celebrate Meantime’s ongoing partnership with ‘Record Store Day’ in the UK, the craft brewer is hosting a day-long festival of live music at its Greenwich home on 9 April. All proceeds from ticket sales for the event will be donated to War Child, Record Store Day’s official charity partner.
All profits from the cans will also be donated to War Child, the brewer added.
This is the second year that Asahi has partnered with Record Store Day. In 2021, the brewery launched Meantime 33:45, an American west coast IPA to mark the celebration.
