Mexico’s drinks industry registered a 24.2% drop in IT hiring activity in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 31.39% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the drinks industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 4.25% share in November 2022, recording an increase of 0.61% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Mexico’s drinks industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s drinks industry in November 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 37.5% in November 2022, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 33.33% share, a decrease of 61.9% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 12.5%, registering a 50% decline from October 2022.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 12.5%, down 70% over the previous month.
Top five drinks companies in Mexico’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 41.46% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s drinks industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
PepsiCo posted 11 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a drop of 42.11% over the previous month, followed by Anheuser-Busch InBev with 8 jobs and a 38.46% drop. Coca-Cola with 2 IT jobs and Mondelez International with 2 jobs, recorded a 75% decline and a 100% growth, respectively, while Nestle recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75%, down by 47.06% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 12.5% share, registered a decline of 57.14% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.5% share, down 50% over October 2022.
