Swedish distiller Mackmyra has launched a limited-edition single malt whisky as part of its ‘Seasonal’ series of bottlings. Taking its name from the Swedish words for ‘birch’ and ‘sap’, Björksav was partially matured in a mix of ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso casks as well as birch sap casks previously used by Swedish winery Grythyttan Vin.
