As customers flooded to the off-premise to get their wine fix, the unit’s total volumes increased by 23% to 8m nine-litre cases. Now, as the world emerges from the worst ravages of Covid-19, new challenges, including soaring input costs, a tight supply chain and a recession, loom large. Just Drinks caught up with the group’s UK general manager Simon Doyle to find out how the Casillero Del Diablo brand owner is adapting its operation to meet those challenges.
