Campari has decided to take on the distribution of its products in the Netherlands.

A new Netherlands unit will take over the distribution of the spirits giant’s products in the country from October.

Dutch firm A Brand New Day had handled the Aperol maker’s products in the Netherlands since 2012.

Patrick Piana, the MD of Campari’s business in Europe, said the creation of the new Dutch unit was “a strategic choice for the Europe region in the context of continued growth and investment in markets that have achieved upward economic results, like the Netherlands”.

As well as Aperol and its namesake aperitif, Campari sells brands including Grand Marnier liqueur and Courvoisier Cognac in the Netherlands.

“A Brand New Day successfully contributed to develop Campari Group brands in the Dutch market, guiding them from early‑stage brands to established brands in their categories. Iconic brands such as Aperol, Campari and Crodino have grown into strong and recognisable names within their respective segments. We are proud of what we have built with these brands in the Netherlands,” A Brand New Day MD Carlo van Overveld said.

In 2025, Campari’s sales in Europe were €1.42bn, some 47% of its total sales and up 2% on an organic basis compared to a year earlier. The company lists Italy, Germany, the UK and France as its “priority markets” in Europe.
