Southern Wine & Spirits of America has confirmed three appointments to its on-premise national accounts division.
The wine and spirits distributor said yesterday (6 April) that Bill Edwards will become vice president, director of sales for national accounts, while Michael King Wanamaker has been appointed to vice president for hotels and resorts. Nancy Curry will be the vice president of national account sales. All appointments will take immediate effect.
Edwards has served as vice president of sales in Southern’s national accounts division. Wanamaker joined Southern in 1994 and has been serving as vice president of national accounts, hotels and resorts division, while also overseeing the California national accounts team as vice president and director of national accounts for California.
Curry presently serves as vice president of national account sales. She began her career at Southern in the California division as an account executive. Before joining the company’s national accounts team, she served as vice president, director of national accounts for California.
Back in February, Southern reorganised its national accounts group, in order to “coordinate more closely” with its national customers and suppliers in the US.
Southern currently operates in 29 US states.
