PepsiCo has changed its north American slogan from “The joy of Pepsi,” an advertising theme it has used since 2000, to “Pepsi. It’s the cola.”
The new slogan will debut on the north American media at the end of this month.
The company has also registered “How ’bout a little Pepsi?” with the US Patent and Trademark Office, also expected to appear in some form in the new campaign.
The new ads that will accompany the slogan are apparently to focus on promoting how well Pepsi-Cola goes with food.
