The chairman and CEO of Pernod Ricard has been named Person of the Year by the French American Chamber of Commerce, New York Chapter. Patrick Ricard was presented with the award in New York yesterday.


In a press release, Ricard said: “This prestigious award from the French-American business community honours all of the employees of Pernod Ricard who have contributed so much to making the group one of the three first companies of wine and spirits in the world.”


The Person of the Year award was created in 1984 to honour executives and their companies that have contributed to the development of strong trade relations between France and the US. Ricard is the 20th honouree of the award.
