Coca-Cola has been told it is “off to an acceptable start” in its attempt to promote diversity within the company, by an external task force, charged with overseeing Coca-Cola Co’s racial and sexual equality drive. According to the task force’s report, the company has made ”real progress” toward achieving the goals that were set forth in the settlement agreement of the 1999 racial bias lawsuit against Coke.
