UK: Heineken to recruit 100 staff for 5% re-launch
Dutch brewing force, Heineken, is set to recruit more than 100 new staff in anticipation of the launch of its new 5% lager. The company is also set to appoint a new ad agency for the task.
According to reports, the project is to be headed up by managing director Rob Marijnen and marketing director Leslie Meredith who were both brought in last year to assess the company’s current situation and future options. Heineken has decided to change its UK lager, bringing it in line with its main lager brand marketed elsewhere, as its licensing agreement with Whitbread will end next year.
