The Edrington Group has confirmed the appointment of a brand controller for its recently-acquired Cutty Sark Scotch whisky brand.
The company, which bought Cutty Sark from Berry Bros & Rudd earlier this year, said yesterday (4 May) that Jason Craig will assume the newly-created position for the blended Scotch.
Craig moves from Edrington’s Highland Park single malt brand, where he was global controller.
“I would like to congratulate Jason on this appointment and wish him future success,” said Ian Curle, Edrington’s chief executive. “Edrington has been working with the Cutty Sark brand since 1936 and we are delighted to own it outright.
