Tomatin Distillery rolls out brand film for Cu Bocan Scotch whisky – video

Tomatin Distillery has released a new campaign film for its Cu Bocan Scotch whisky brand.

Tomatin Distillery has released a new campaign video for its Cù Bòcan Scotch whisky brand.

‘Unlock The Unusual’ tells the story of the Highland single malt “within an abstract and modern story arc”, Tomatin said today.

“In the absence of being able to invite visitors to our brand home we wanted to deliver our story to a global audience in the most visual way possible, showcasing our Highland location, winter production but most importantly our experimental spirit,” said Cù Bòcan brand manager Julia Mackillop.

The three expressions in the Cù Bòcan range carry no-age statements and are bottled at 46% abv. The line-up comprises:

  • Signature – matured in Bourbon, Oloroso Sherry and North American Virgin Oak casks
  • Creation #1 matured in Black Isle Brewery Imperial Stout and Bacalhôa Moscatel de Setúbal wine casks 
  • Creation #2 matured in Japanese Shochu and  European Virgin Oak casks.

The range is available worldwide with the Signature expression retailing in the UK for GBP45 (US$62) and Creations #1 and #2 at GBP60 per 70cl bottle.

Last year, Tomatin released a 42-year-old Sauternes cask-aged expression under its ultra-premium Warehouse 6 Scotch whisky brand
