The no-age-statement rye has been matured in both virgin American oak and ex-Port casks.

According to the company, its distillery is the only England-based production facility to use “ancient heritage” grain – resulting in a flavour that it claims is unattainable using commercial grains.

The release follows the launch of Batch #1 in April, and Oxford Artisan aims to launch Batch #3, which spent time in ex-Moscatel de Setúbal dessert wine casks, on 31 July.
