Sales of Pepsi soft drinks look set for a record year in Thailand. In the first 10 months of 2003 Pepsi-Cola (Thai) Trading Co. saw sales grow by 13% year-on-year, the highest growth rate for the company in its 50-year history in Thailand, the local press reported today.

The company’s market share rose by 1% year-on-year to 63%. The growth was attributed to the hot summer and a major advertising campaign in the country.

Pepsi-Cola (Thai) Trading Co. owns the trademarks of Pepsi, Mirinda and 7-Up in Thailand.
