The Spanish brewer, Damm, has reported a net consolidated profit of €38.9m (US$42.9m) for 2002, representing a 6.8% fall from 2001.

The consolidated turnover at Damm, which is based in Catalonia, rose by 13% in 2002 to €452.5m (US$498.9m).

Damm’s 2002 results included a full-year contribution from the Spanish mineral water bottling company, Fuente Liviana, in which Damm acquired a 50% stake at the end of 2001.
