The Spanish wine group, Baron de Ley, has reported a net attributable profit for 2002 of €19.9m (US$21.39m), up 18% from 2001.

Turnover rose by 11% to €64.4m (US$69.2m), while operating profit also rose by 11% to €20.7m (US$22.25m). Bottled wine accounted for 99% of total turnover in 2002, the company said. Exports at Baron de Ley rose by 6% in 2002 and represented 28% of total turnover.
