The South-East Asian conglomerate Fraser & Neave Ltd said today that soft drinks and beer helped it record a 38% rise in full-year profit to S$333m (US$191.9m) from S$241m a year ago.


Revenue rose 4.5% to S$3.6 billion.


The company said it expected core earnings to improve further this current year.


F&N holds a 37.9% stake in Asia-Pacific Breweries Ltd (APB), which posted a net profit of S$94.14m, up 10.9% from S$84.90m a year ago.
