The Russian soft drinks and dairy products group, Wimm-Bill-Dann, has announced that it sold 773,600 tonnes of diary products, juice and mineral water in the first half of 2003, representing a 12.4% increase from the first half of 2002.

Juice volumes rose by 19.6% to 268,000 tonnes. The company also said it had sold 1,000 tonnes of mineral water in the first two months following the launch of its Zapovednik Valdai brand in May, 2003.
