PepsiCo has declined to comment on a report that its Russian juice subsidiary, Lebedyanksy, dropped into the red in 2009.
Lebedyansky recorded net losses of RUB723m (US$24.6m) for the 12 months of 2009, against net profits of RUB1bn in 2008, according to Russian news agency Prime-Tass this week.
It said the losses reflected a drop in sales and other income as a result of a corporate reorganisation.
A spokesperson for PepsiCo, which controls Lebedyansky, declined to comment when contacted by just-drinks.
