Russian Standard has lined up the launch of its namesake vodka brand in the Netherlands through Maxxium in the country.

The vodka company announced today (16 April) that Maxxium Nederland will handle distribution of Russian Standard vodka from its launch on 1 June.

“The Netherlands is an attractive market and we are pleased to launch this partnership with Maxxium Nederland,” said Chris Lucas, CEO of Russian Standard Vodka International. “We believe that Russian Standard Vodka will experience rapid growth with Maxxium Nederland.”

Maxxium Nederland is a joint venture between The Edrington Group and Lucas Bols. The partnership assumed distribution control of several Beam Global Spirits & Wine brands in the country last month.
