A third attempt is being made by the Polish authorities to privatise the state-owned drinks producer Polmos Bialystok, the country’s press reported today.

The Polish treasury announced yesterday that it had called for tender bids to be privatisation advisor. According to the reports, the successful candidate will have 12 weeks to make a pre-privatization analysis, five weeks to prepare a memorandum for potential bidders and eight weeks to prepare the issue prospectus.

Two previous two efforts to sell the alcohol maker failed in 2001.

Polmos Bialystok produces the well-known “Zubrowka” vodka.
