Mast-Jägermeister has announced a change of leadership for its Global Travel Retail division. Tobias Witte replaces division director Dietmar Franke who retired at the end of last year, the privately-owned German company said today. Witte has been with Mast-Jagermeister since 2012, when he moved across from Brown-Forman. Prior to his latest role, Witte served as regional manager for Canada & head of GTR in the Americas for the group. In early-2019, he assumed the MD position at Gin Sul, the German gin producer that Mast-Jagermeister bought into almost four years ago. “I am delighted to lead the GTR team at Jägermeister and welcome the opportunities and challenges that lay ahead," said Witte. "I look forward to taking Dietmar’s legacy forward, developing the brand further and collaborating with our partners around the world." Earlier this month, the group made another acquisition, this time buying an unspecified stake in Tequila brand Teremana.
