Welsh distiller Mallows Bottling has released a five-strong line of flavoured rums.
The Rummers, which is the first launch from Mallows, comprises golden rum, banana, citrus & sea salt and pineapple flavours as well as a spiced rum. The brand targets consumers looking to enter the growing premium rum market.

“The premium rum market continues to grow in the UK and internationally,” said co-founder Andy Mallows. “Consumers are always on the hunt for new, innovative flavours, and we’ve developed a range that provides a rum for every palate.”
Mallows, a former CEO of Dutch spirits producer Toorank, launched Mallows Bottling with his son, Rhys, in July. The company, which operates a distillery in Tonyrefail, South Wales, also undertakes contract bottling for international brands and produces own-label spirits.
A spokesperson for Mallows Bottling told Just Drinks today that Andy and Rhys Mallows have exited a joint-venture they helped set up two years ago called Bottlers and Distillers Wales.
