Laylo has launched a boxed rose wine under its namesake brand in the UK.

Laylo Lot #4: Rosé Méditerranée is made from Grenache grapes from the Provence region of France. The 2.25-litre boxes are available to order immediately from the brand’s website.

Additionally, the company claims the varietal’s box packaging, which holds the equivalent of three 70cl units, generates 90% less carbon than glass bottles.

We were passionate to find Laylo customers a rosé that combined sustainable, high-quality, traditional winemaking with joyful holiday vibes,” said Laylo co-founder Laura Riches. “With sales of rosé wine up 250% so far this year, it is a firm summer favourite amongst UK drinkers – and the classy Provence style is the most popular choice.”

Last month, O’Neill Vintners & Distillers launched a range of boxed wines in the US, targeting consumers hosting or participating in communal games nights.
