The soft drinks producer, Kirin Beverage Corp., has announced that it is to acquire a majority stake in the Koiwai Dairy Products Co. in 2004. Kirin is looking at integrating the Koiwai business with its chilled beverage operations.
Koiwai is already 50%-owned by Kirin Brewery Co., the parent company of Kirin Beverage Corp.
