Cooley Distillery, the Ireland-based privately-owned whiskey company, is reportedly in discussions to sell a minority stake to the Caribbean-based rum producer Angostura. Business and Finance magazine said that Cooley chairman John Teeling had been in Port of Spain to discuss a deal with Angostura, which already has a stake in Scotch producer Burn Stewart.
