United Breweries, India’s biggest beer company has benefited from the prolonged hot weather the country has experienced, helping to drive sales growth. At the company’s AGM UB chairman Vijay Mallya said that in the fist five months of the year sales had been up 21% with a corresponding increase in earnings.
