LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton has appointed a new president for Moet & Chandon. Frederic Cumenal will take the position in January next year.


Cumenal has been president of Domaine Chandon California in Napa, a vineyard and winery founded by Moet & Chandon, since September 1999. He has been with LVMH since 1995.


In a statement, Cumenal said: “I am delighted to join Moet & Chandon, the champagne leader, and its high performing team, to contribute to its development and international expansion.”


Moet Hennessy, a subsidiary of LVMH, owns brands such as Hennessy, Moet & Chandon, Dom Perignon, Veuve Clicquot, Krug, Ruinart and Mercier.
