Featuring in The Singleton’s ‘Paragon of Time’ series, which debuted two years ago with a 53-year-old iteration, the 54-year-old whisky was distilled in 1966 at the group’s distillery in Speyside’s Dufftown, home to William Grant & Sons’ The Balvenie and Glenfiddich production sites. The liquid spent most of its life in European oak casks before finishing its ageing process in an ex-Pedro Ximenez Sherry cask.

A total of 235 bottles will be available next month, each of which comprises a Baccara decanter in a leather-lined, wooden box.

The 54-year-old closes The Singleton’s Paragon of Time series.

Last month, Diageo’s Talisker single malt brand released a 43-year-old whisky carrying a US$4,850 price point.
