The Danish brewer and soft drinks company, Harboes Bryggeri, has reported a pre-tax profit of DKr44.9m (US$6.5m/€6.0m) for the first nine months of the 2002/2003 fiscal year, up 4% from DKr43.3m (US$6.3m/€5.8m) in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal year.

Turnover for the nine-month period rose from DKr1.1 billion to DKr1.2 billion (US$172.9m/€161.6m), while operating profit increased from DKr52.7m to DKr53m (US$7.6m/€7.1m).

Harboes is forecasting a pre-tax profit of up to DKr55m (US$7.9m/€7.4m) for the full 2002/03 fiscal year.
