The Danish brewer, Bryggerigruppen, has posted a net profit after minority interests of DKr153.2m (US$21.9m/€20.6m) for 2002, up from DKr77.4m (US$11.1m/€10.4m) in 2001.
Pre-tax profit was up from DKr120.1m (US$17.2m/€16.2m) to DKr227.6m (US$32.6m/€30.7m), while operating profit operating profit rose from DKr205.8m (US$29.5m/€27.7m) to DKr245.8m (US$35.2m/€33.1m) on sales of DKr2.778 billion (US$398m/€374.1m), against DKr2.724 billion (US$390.3m/€366.9m) in 2001.
