Dutch drinks group De Kuyper Royal Distillers is releasing a non-alcoholic premixed cocktails range for the on-trade called Batched 0.0%.

The collection marks the group’s first launch of a non-alcoholic spirits range for its European on-premise customers, De Kuyper told Just Drinks, noting that it will first be sold first in the Netherlands, UK and Germany.

It added that the group will launch the range “globally”.

The Batched 0.0% line-up, set to hit the market in June, features non-alcoholic versions of well-known cocktails including the Pornstar Martini, Mojito and Strawberry Daiquiri, sold in a 1 litre bottled format.

De Kuyper said in a statement the line “addresses the surging demand for premium non-alcoholic options”.

The Archers Peach Schnapps producer initially launched a smaller 200ml format non-alcoholic cocktails range in 2021, but this was exclusively for the Netherlands market, the company confirmed.

In addition to the three 0.0 cocktails, De Kuyper is also due to roll out a Batched Peachtree Sex on the Beach 0.0% in the Netherlands from May.

Alongside the 0.0% abv range, the Dutch Cacao distiller has also planned to release an alcoholic Peachtree Sex on the Beach to add to its Batched premixed cocktails range, plus a version of the beverage that can also be served on draught. Both products are already available in the Netherlands, and are due to be launched in Germany.

“Sex on the Beach is the number four cocktail of the global top ten cocktails consumed in on-trade establishments. Among Gen Z consumers it ranks even higher as the third most popular cocktail worldwide served at on-trade venues,” said Godelief van Erve, De Kuyper’s global marketing director.

“As Peachtree remains the most widely used peach liqueur for this iconic cocktail, it was just obvious for us to support outlets to conveniently serve this famous drink in the best possible quality.”

De Kuyper released premixed Espresso Martini and Pornstar Martini cocktails on draught for on-premise venues in June, launching the drinks, which can be served from taps, in the Netherlands and Germany.

In March 2024, the Schiedam-based distiller began selling its ready-to-serve cocktail range in the UK through a partnership with William Grant & Sons.
