The craft beer segment bounced back from COVID to increase its overall share of the US beer market last year, according to recent research, although the level remains below that reached pre-pandemic. The Brewers Association’s 'Annual Craft Brewing Industry Production Report', released this week, put craft's share of the overall beer market in volume terms in 2021 at 13.1%. The performance represented an improvement on 2020's 12.3%, the trade association said, but remains below the 13.6% share reported by the BA in 2019. A total of 29m hectolitres was produced by small and independent brewers in the US in 2021, the report added, an 8% increase on 2020. !function(){"use strict";window.addEventListener("message",(function(e){if(void 0!==e.data["datawrapper-height"]){var t=document.querySelectorAll("iframe");for(var a in e.data["datawrapper-height"])for(var r=0;r
