The US import business for Chopin Vodka has consolidated its distribution partnerships in the country, transitioning from Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits to a nationwide arrangement with Republic National Distributing Co (RNDC). Chopin Imports, which is a subsidiary of Polish company and Chopin brand-owner Podlaska Wytwórnia Wódek Polmos. will distribute its portfolio of spirits through RNDC in the US. The agreement will come into effect from 1 April after a transition period in which both companies will handle distribution rights. Chopin Imports handles the importation of brands including its namesake vodka, as well as several third-party owned brands including Gordan & MacPhail’s Benromach Scotch whisky and Dos Deus Vermouth. “We intend to build upon our brands’ success and feel assured RNDC will be the right partner to grow our business,” said Chopin Imports founder and CEO Tad Dorda. “This will be a strong collaboration of family-owned companies with shared values and excellent brand-building reputations.” Chopin introduced its initial flagship vodka to the US back in 1997, later adding a rye expression in 2011.
