The brewing conglomerate, SABMiller, has announced that it has completed the purchase of a 29.6% stake in the Chinese beer producer, Harbin Brewery Group Ltd.
SABMiller has acquired the 29.6% stake in Harbin from China Enterprise Development Fund (CEDF) for HK$675m (US$87m) in cash through a newly created subsidiary, Gardwell Ltd.
