The Chilean association of producers and exporters of fine wine, Chilevid, has said it expects wine exports to rise by about 10% in 2003 against 2002, in spite of the current uncertainties in the global market. That would put 2003 exports somewhere in the region of 390.5m litres.

However, export revenues are only forecast to rise by 5% from US$608.2m to around US$638.6m because of downward pressure on international wine prices.
