Canada’s largest coffee distributor Van Houtte announced yesterday that it had named Jean-Yves Monette as its new president and chief executive. The appointment is effective immediately.
Monette will replace Marc Fortier, who resigned just over a year after becoming head of the company. In a statement Van Houtte said Fortier was “moving on to new challenges after successfully refocusing the company”.
