Labatt Breweries has launched a low-calorie, low-carbohydrate beer. The new beverage, called Labatt Sterling, is aimed at drinkers who have become more health-aware, following the launch of diets like the Atkins plan.

Sterling has 2.5 grams of carbohydrates per bottle, which is 75% less than a bottle of regular beer. It also has 88 calories, compared with 145 calories in regular beer.

The alcohol content is the same as regular light beer at 4%.
