Campari Group has released an extension of its Forty Creek Canadian whisky brand.

Forty Creek Foxheart is a 40%-abv whisky infused with 12-year-old Caribbean rum. The expression is currently available in selected retailers across Ontario and will roll out to British Columbia stores from next week.

The company intends to continue expanding Foxheart’s Canadian footprint in the coming months.

“When blending Foxheart, I wanted to utilise the unique, premium liquid that’s already well-loved by Canadians and infuse it with a hint of aged Caribbean rum, leaning into its spice and flavour to further enhance the whisky,” said Forty Creek’s master blender, Bill Ashburn. “I’ve been in pursuit of the perfect heart to the whisky for decades – and in Foxheart, we’ve found just that.”

Campari purchased Forty Creek in 2014 for US$182.4m. Last year, the Grimsby, Ontario-based brand released Forty Creek Nanaimo Bar Cream, a 15%-abv cream liqueur with a flavour profile based around the namesake Canadian dessert.
