The Danish brewing group, Carlsberg, has increased its stake in the Bulgarian brewer, Pirinsko Pivo, from 67.17% to 94.5%.

Carlsberg acquired 282,212 shares from minority shareholders at BL26.45 ($14/€13) per share, making the total investment in the expansion of its holding some BL7.5m ($4.0m/€3.8m).

Carlsberg acquired its 67.17% participation in Pirinkso Pivo, located in Blagoevgrad in southwestern Bulgaria, in October for BL18.33m ($9.8m/€9.4m).
