The Belgian brewer, Duvel Moortgat, has reported a net profit of €6.8m (US$7.3m) for 2002, representing no growth from 2001.

Attributable after-tax profit at Duvel Moortgat rose by 9% from €5.4m (US$5.8m) to €5.9m (US$6.4m), while consolidated turnover increased by 11% from €52.5m (US$56.7m) to €58.1m (US$62.7m).

Sales in Belgium rose by 7.8%, while sales in the Netherlands were up by 1.3%. The company’s sales in France rose by 11.6% from 2001.
