Andrew Pirie, the founder and former managing director of Piper’s Brook Vineyard in Tasmania who was sacked last week by the company’s owners, Kreglinger, has been appointed as chief executive officer of Parker Coonawarra Estate.
Pirie will have responsibility for viticulture, winemaking and brand management.
