The Japanese brewer, Kirin, is forging closer operational links with the Australian drinks group, Lion Nathan, in which it owns a 46% stake.
Having already announced that it is to distribute Lion’s wine brands in Japan, Kirin has said that Lion Nathan is to brew Kirin’s Bar brand at its Thebarton brewery in Adelaide for shipment to Taiwan. The Thebarton brewery is currently running at below capacity.
