Foster’s has set up a new non-alcohol unit, according to press reports. The Australian Financial Review reported today that the brewer and winemaker has formed Carlton Non-Alcohol Brands, following a restructure of its BCB beverage unit.

The report, which cited Foster’s, also said that the group is hoping to leverage the distribution systems already in place for its existing beer and spirits operations.

Foster’s Group Ltd completed the acquisition of BCB in July this year. The unit already produces a range of flavoured mineral waters as well as RTDs such as Capri.
