The Australian wine group, BRL Hardy, has announced that Australia’s Foreign Investment Review Board has approved the proposed acquisition of BRL Hardy by the US drinks company, Constellation Brands.
The deal is scheduled to be completed in early-April but remains subject to some further closing conditions, including termination of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act waiting period in the US and approval by BRL Hardy shareholders.
