The trademark dispute between Anheuser-Busch InBev and US vodka firm Stateside has been settled.
Stateside had accused the brewing giant of infringing the trademark of its RTD brand Surfside.

The legal action emerged last year when Stateside filed papers in Philadelphia over the packaging design for Skimmers.
AB InBev launched its Skimmers product in April last year describing the RTD brand as a “non-carbonated vodka tea”.
According to court documents seen by Just Drinks last October, Stateside claimed Skimmers “mimics the overall look and feel” of its product.
“Seeking to trade off the tremendous goodwill Stateside has built in its highly recognisable, extremely popular and hugely successful Surfside beverages, Anheuser-Busch recently introduced its own RTD alcoholic iced-tea and lemonade vodka-based beverage, named Skimmers, that copies the Surfside can design and mimics the overall look and feel (or trade dress) of Stateside’s product,” the lawsuit read.
Just Drinks understands the legal row has come to an end.
AB InBev declined to comment.
