The US’s drinks industry registered a 16.7% rise in IT hiring activity in May 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 1.66% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.

Out of the drinks industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 1.73% share in May 2022, recording an increase of 0.36% over the last three-month average share.

Top five drinks companies in the US’s IT recruitment activity in May 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 23.75% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s drinks industry during May 2022 over April 2022.

PepsiCo posted 46 IT jobs in May 2022 and registered a rise of 53.33% over the previous month, followed by Coca-Cola Consolidated with 25 jobs and a 25% growth. Carlsberg with 15 IT jobs and Anheuser-Busch InBev with 7 jobs, recorded an 114.29% growth and a 46.15% decrease, respectively, while The Coca-Cola recorded a decline of 40% with 6 job postings during May 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in May 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.29%, up by 7.04% from April 2022. Entry Level positions with an 18.55% share, registered an increase of 15% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 16.94% share, up 40% over April 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 3.23%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
